Facilities for contract experiments
In order for Showa Shinku to grow, we believe it is necessary to create new value by conducting business in cooperation with customers, R&D institutions such as universities, and various other stakeholders.
Showa Shinku has R＆D equipment that can quickly respond to customer requests for sample film deposition and verification experiments for performance evaluation. We also hold technical exchange meetings with customers, conduct joint development, and also conduct joint research on elemental technologies with university laboratories. We are also working toward spreading information about the manufacturing sites through events such as facility tours for students.
Space development
We can no longer live an affluent and convenient life without space. Our lives are closely related with the space, such as GPS systems for smartphones and car navigation systems, weather forecasts, and real-time broadcasting of overseas sports events and entertainment via satellite broadcasting.
In order to advance space development, it is necessary to reproduce the environment similar to the space on Earth. The vacuum equipment manufactured by Showa Shinku can reproduce the environment desired by the customer in the equipment.

The “Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100” companies are selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as companies that have secured a high share of the world in niche fields and are practicing good management even in a new and challenging economic environment, such as the progress of the digital economy, changes in the global political and economic situation, and changes in the social structure like the declining birthrate and aging population.
Showa Shinku has received high evaluation for its frequency adjustment equipment for quartz devices, and has been selected for 2020 “Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Exhibiting at “Work Experience EXPO 2023 in Sagamihara”
We exhibited at “Work Experience EXPO 2023 in Sagamihara” (Organizer: Sagamihara city/Operating company: Values Fusion Co., Ltd.) that was held as an exchange event to introduce the company profiles and initiatives of companies in Sagamihara City for junior and senior high school students. The theme of our booth was “What is vacuum? See and experience it”, and it included content such as explanation of vacuum and experiments using a vacuum chamber. In a survey conducted after the content was implemented, over 74% of participants answered that they would like to work in manufacturing, and we were able to convey the pleasure of manufacturing.
