Sustainability Policy
In order to achieve sustainable development together with the society, our group will put into practice one of its corporate philosophies, “Our existence contributes to enriching the world”, and will aim to be a company that continues to be needed by society by contributing to society through its key technology, the vacuum technology.

Based on our environmental declaration under the slogan “Beautiful earth forever”, we comply with laws and regulations regarding environmental conservation through the operation of the ISO14001 Environmental Management System, etc., and promote the development of products with low environmental impact and energy and resource conservation in the manufacturing process, thereby contributing to the development of a livable earth and an affluent society.

Connection With The Community
The Showa Shinku Group’s Corporate Ethics Guidelines state that we should subjectively and actively engage in exchanges with the local community. In accordance with this, we work to maintain close ties and cooperation with the local community and are engaged in a variety of activities to contribute to the local community.
Investing in Sagamihara City Green Bonds
We are investing in green bonds issued by Sagamihara City.
Green bonds are bonds issued for environmental initiatives against global warming, climate change, etc. The funds raised from the issuance of these bonds will be used for projects to reduce environmental impact (reducing greenhouse gas emissions), prevent water pollution, preserve and create urban green spaces, and mitigate damage from meteorological disasters such as floods and landslides.

A supplementary reading book distributed to third and fourth graders at elementary schools in Sagamihara City Showa Shinku has been introduced in “Work Notes for Elementary School Students 2022 edition”.

We have signed a sponsorship contract with J. League Club SC Sagamihara with the aim of revitalizing the local area by promoting local sports.

A portion of the proceeds from the issuance of the SDGs Medical and Welfare Support Private Placement Bonds is donated through Bank of Yokohama to a fund that supports medical workers and volunteer groups working to combat the COVID-19 infection in Kanagawa Prefecture.
