The history of the Showa Shinku Group started in 1953 when Omata Vacuum Machinery Research Center, a privately established company, began repairing vacuum pumps. In the more than 70 years since its founding, the Showa Shinku Group has firmly established its position as a manufacturer of thin-film deposition equipment for electronic components, with vacuum technology as its key technology, by practicing its management policies of “Be unique by focusing on growing niche markets” and “Demonstrate the differentiation and originality of our technology”.
Most of the equipment handled by the Showa Shinku Group is made to order. In order to respond precisely to customer needs, we have always considered “what is a high-added-value product for customers?” and reflected this in product development and manufacturing, thereby winning the trust of many customers.
In the future, the demand for high-precision electronic components is expected to increase as a result of the progress made by an advanced information society due to the spread of 5G, the electrification of automobiles and improvement in autonomous driving technology, the arrival of the IoT society, and the evolution of AI technology. However, the development of these electronic components requires thin-film deposition technology using vacuum as a method to obtain the necessary characteristics.
In this environment, the Showa Shinku Group will respond sincerely and honestly to customer requests for verification experiments and sample deposition, and will also actively work on developing new technologies through co-creation with customers, based on the advanced and specialized vacuum technology that it has accumulated.
